At the age 26 Megan is an award winning photographer, explorer and visual storyteller. She is happiest with her family, especially her brother Aleksy, with whom she shares the love for the ocean in her new home in county Sligo.

“Growing up, any free time had been spent with my family, searching for space and freedom and our shared passion for the ocean and surf. This way we could escape our hometown in Essex. My first interactions with the camera were shooting my brother Aleksy at windsurfing comps and free sailing sessions.

I knew I had been born in the wrong place and that I needed a different environment to find my direction in life. I left home at the age of 16 and explored some amazing places around the world. In the end the place that felt most at home to me was just around the corner, in Ireland, where I had incredible memories way back from my childhood.

I moved to Bundoran 6 years ago where the heavy waves were pretty challenging for myself, so I joined the line up with a camera instead of a surfboard.

As I continue my photography journey I look forward to developing my unique eye for capturing incredible moments in time. Through the lens I hope you will join me on my journey to see how you can open your mind to a different perspective.”
